The Studio/Project Manager acts as a liaison between the Account, Digital, Production and Creative Departments
by supervising, coordinating, and ensuring the on-time and orderly flow of all aspects of creative projects attributed
to a specific account.

Team Management

  • Manages Creative and Production timelines for Designers, Freelancers, Copywriters and Production Designers
  • Oversees creative requests and studio resourcing
  • Books frequent check-ins with the Design Team to ensure on-track, and on-brief delivery of work
  • Oversees and proofreads all print production to ensure error free, on-brand files
  • Assists in the interview and recruitment process of full time and freelance resources
  • Present to and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients

Process Management

  • Keeps abreast of Creative Department workflow and follows up on timing of internal meetings, presentation dates, and key due dates
  • Keeps all members of the team informed on the current status of all jobs in progress via weekly status meetings
  • Meets with the Account Team on a daily basis to review status reports and forecast resources
  • Provides input into estimated time for creative deliverables and works with the Account Team to establish work back schedules
  • Manages freelance needs
  • Manages stock image and footage needs
  • Manages the asset library and supports all members of the team locate assets on the server
  • Communicates with clients directly on small ad-hoc design requests
  • Manages financials of small ad-hoc requests and vendors

Design Responsibilities

  • Solid understanding of layout, typography and design principles
  • Skilled in Adobe CS: Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Creates visual designs based on approved conceptual design directions
  • Designs for print, web, and mobile
  • Assists in stock image/footage sourcing
  • Assists in the build of presentation decks
  • Assists in revisions to files based on input from the creative teams; makes copy and art revisions to layouts

  • Proactively takes ownership of process and consistently looks for ways to exceed team and client expectations
  • Oversees quality of work for all client deliverables
  • Efficient operation and management of the Creative Department
  • Encourages a positive environment that inspires others to excel and deliver
  • Works with Creative Directors to ensure the right resources are assigned to a project

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience as a Studio Manager or Traffic Coordinator, managing a medium-sized team in a fast-paced environment. This candidate must have a strong background in production and design process, and team management. Working knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is a must.
