Beneath the surface, to a raw yet refined layer at the core of our being. Nurtured by nature, it flows from the earth to the body, and from seed to skin.
Having opened the successful Hammam Spa in downtown Toronto, and having travelled the world exploring products and practices from different cultures, Celine Tadrissi came to Community to develop a unique brand identity for a naturally sourced, in-house skin care line. Our approach took traditional organic cues in an elegant new direction, celebrating the stunning intricacy and beauty of natural forms, complemented by a contemporary, predominantly black-and-white palette.
The strikingly simple Céla wordmark was inspired by the confident and welcoming forms found in plants, subtly referencing the delicate nature of our skin. The signoff, Celine Tadrissi, adds a personal touch that clearly identifies the person behind the brand. Modern, apothecary-style labels emphasize their small-batch quality and handcrafted approach, while imagery highlights the journey from seed to skin to stunning. Recently launched, the skin care line has shown to be more than simply beautiful, quickly developing a loyal following among guests and garnering buzz beyond the spa. 3
