Challenge:
Since January 2023, Enbridge Gas and Canada’s Greener Homes Grant have partnered to provide rebates towards eligible retrofits such as home insulation, windows and doors, heat pumps and renewable energy systems to help more Ontarians save energy at home. Enbridge challenged us with raising awareness and generating leads for their new Home Efficiency Rebate Plus program through innovative and engaging activations across Ontario.
Strategy:
We wanted to stand out from traditional brand executions by delivering something that is engaging and increases brand dwell time, allowing our onsite teams more time to walk consumers through the qualifying details of this content rich program. We activated at conferences, conventions and events where consumers are more inclined to be looking at home renovations, upgrades and décor. The colour blocked installation was a showstopper, boasting signage that drew consumers in and bold colours that encouraged them to approach and engage. The unique VR element provided a fun, captivating way that consumers could engage with a program that requires a higher level of education than most. Thanks to the set up, we were ability to track dwell time, identify which offers/rebates were most popular, generate quality/vetted leads and overdeliver on KPIs.
