SCJ noticed young consumers were shifting to all-purpose cleaners as a way to save money and (perceived) time, so they challenged us with combatting millennial overreliance on all-purpose cleaners by demonstrating the superior quality of Scrubbing Bubbles and their equally hard-working bathroom cleaning brand.  

Strategy:  


We approached this challenge looking for a way for Canadians to spend more time in the bathroom. Our approach? Reward them for it. We all know that Millennials and Gen Z love to play games on their phones in the bathroom, so we created Scrubbing Bubbles Rule the Throne Trivia, an online bathroom trivia game where consumers could enter to win weekly prizes alongside a chance at a grand prize. Each week, six unique trivia questions were posted alongside videos from our host, giving consumers the chance to play for a total of six ballots each week. The results? SCJ had over 52,831 participants and received over 336,971 visits to the Scrubbing Bubbles website
